Our client is a is a wealth management firm that integrates financial planning and estate planning services, using educational seminars to attract and advise clients on retirement and legacy strategies. They are searching for an Estate Planning Attorney to join their team ASAP!
Salary:
$130k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + uncapped commission + full comprehensive benefits
Job Summary:
A growing financial services organization is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to lead and expand its estate planning offerings. This role focuses on advising individuals and families on estate strategies while partnering closely with financial professionals to deliver comprehensive planning solutions. The position is highly client-facing and includes regular public presentations, individual consultations, and collaboration with internal teams. The firm provides a steady flow of prospective clients, allowing the attorney to focus on advising and implementation rather than business development.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the firm's estate planning services Present estate planning topics in educational workshops and seminars Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend strategies Draft and oversee estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.) Guide clients through implementation of estate strategies Collaborate with financial advisors to align legal and financial plans Maintain long-term client relationships and provide ongoing guidance Stay current on relevant laws and planning strategies
Qualifications:
Licensed attorney in NJ Strong experience in estate planning and client advising Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading presentations Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Background:
Experience working with financial advisors or wealth management teams Prior seminar or workshop presentation experience Familiarity with retirement and financial planning concepts
