Job Description

We are working with a law firm who is actively seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join a mission-driven and growing law firm. This is not a traditional legal environment, our team combines compassion, education, and strategic planning to help families protect what matters most: their assets, stories, and legacies. We will consider attorneys with 3-4 years of direct estate planning experience. Candidates without estate planning or elder law experience will not be considered. If you are a seasoned attorney with a heart for service and a drive to grow with an entrepreneurial firm, we want to hear from you. This position has potential for partnership based on performance.
What You'll Do:
Lead estate planning consultations and convert prospective clients. Draft and review wills, trusts (including Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts and special needs trusts), powers of attorney, and advance directives. Guide clients with empathy and clarity through the planning process. Mentor junior attorneys and support staff. Contribute to business development through community engagement and referral relationships.
What We're Looking For:
New York-licensed attorney with at least 3 years of estate planning or elder law experience. Strong interpersonal and client communication skills. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Professional, empathetic, and proactive approach.
Why Join Us:
Competitive salary with profitability-based bonus. Health insurance. Paid vacation and holidays. 401(k) retirement plan. Growth opportunities with meaningful impact from day one. Potential for equity interest based on performance.
Additional Details:
Full-time, in-office position (Monday through Friday). In-person client work is required; remote or flexible scheduling is not available.
