Job Description
Position Overview Reporting to the General Counsel (GC), the Attorney - Program Legal Services will support The Children's Village's campus residential, community-based residential, and family foster care programs to help CV achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and families that it serves. The Attorney - Program Legal Services will also work closely with members of the CV Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, Quality Improvement Department, and program social workers and caseworkers. The position is full-time and in-person, located on the CV Dobbs Ferry campus, with periodic work at CV's New York City-based locations as well. Position Qualifications J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school. Member of the New York State bar in good standing. 2-5 years of practice experience, preferably in the areas of family law, child welfare, and/or not-for-profit organizations. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills. Ability to serve as a team player in a complex and collegial organization. Ability to work independently, identify issues that need to be resolved, and meet deadlines.
