Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Attorney concentrating in plaintiff's medical malpractice to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex litigation cases related to medical negligence, advocating for clients who have experienced medical errors, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your expertise will contribute to delivering justice for clients while maintaining the highest standards of legal integrity and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful cases within a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities Handle all phases of medical malpractice litigation, including case evaluation, investigation, discovery, and trial preparation. Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on relevant case law and statutes. Draft comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel. Interview clients, medical experts and witnesses to gather pertinent information and build strong cases. Maintain meticulous case files and documentation in accordance with law office procedures and ethical standards. Stay informed about developments in related legal areas such as personal injury law and litigation to ensure comprehensive legal support. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior experience handling medical malpractice cases or personal injury litigation is desirable. Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw to analyze legal issues efficiently. Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear drafting of legal documents and correspondence. Familiarity with legal administrative processes within a law office setting. Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
