Professional Liability Partner

Kaufman Dolowich is seeking an experienced Partner to lead and grow its Professional Liability (E&O) practice in the Woodbury, Long Island market. This role is ideal for a client-focused attorney with strong leadership skills, deep professional liability defense experience, and a demonstrated ability to develop business and manage complex matters. Responsibilities Lead and expand the Professional Liability practice in the Long Island office Handle complex E&O defense matters through all phases of litigation Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients Mentor and supervise associates and staff Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives Collaborate with firm leadership and related practice groups on strategic growth opportunities Qualifications JD and admission to the New York Bar in good standing 10+ years of professional liability defense experience Established book of business in the Long Island or NY metropolitan market preferred Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred Join a collaborative and growing firm recognized for excellence, innovation, and professional development.
