Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our Legal Department for a 10-week summer internship. This hybrid position is designed for law students who havepleted their first year of law school and have a strong interest in corporate law, international law, and contract law, particularly within a post-integration business environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting legal initiatives and working closely with Sr. Legal Counsel on a variety of corporate and transactional matters.
Responsibilities
Assist Sr. Legal Counsel with legal research and analysis related to corporate, contract, and international law matters
Support post-integration activities, including contract review, entity management, andpliance tracking
Draft, review, andanize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
Participate in due diligence activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and integrations
maintain contract databases and legal records
Prepare summaries, memoranda, and presentations for internal legal and business stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingpliance, finance, and business operations
Perform additional legal and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Completion of first year of law school (1L required) at an accredited institution
Required Experience
Demonstrated interest in corporate law, international law, and contract law
Interest in post-integration work, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate operations
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail andanizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Additional Requirements
Candidates must be located within amutable distance from our North Shore office in Pittsburgh and able to meet hybrid work expectations
