Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal areas, including civil litigation involving business dissolutions, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, private and public sector labor law, and trade secret and non disclosure agreement litigation . As an integral part of our firm, you will provide comprehensive legal support, develop your expertise across multiple practice areas, and contribute to delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is motivated, proactive, and eager to grow within a collaborative environment that values innovation and advocacy. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis. Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing case strategies. Support attorneys in court depositions, hearings, and litigation proceedings across various practice areas such as personal injury law, employment law, and general & commercial litigation. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software while maintaining meticulous records of all case activities. Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, provide updates, and clarify legal options while ensuring confidentiality. Participate in statutory legal research to ensure compliance with procedural laws and regulations relevant to each case. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility for admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience or internship in a law office setting demonstrating familiarity with legal research, drafting, and case management. Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory research methods, and legal advocacy techniques across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury law, employment law, and general litigation. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents under tight deadlines. Effective negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze complex issues critically. Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with legal motion preparation and trial support is preferred. Exceptional client communication skills with a professional demeanor that fosters trust and clarity. Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and organizational excellence.
