We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team in a full-time, primarily virtual hybrid role. We are physically located in Altamonte Springs and mostly practice in Orange, Seminole, Lake, and Volusia counties About the Position This position is designed for an attorney who can independently manage family law cases from intake through resolution. The role is primarily remote, with in person attendance required as needed for client meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations, trial preparation, trials, and other matters that require an attorney's physical presence. We are looking for someone who is organized, responsive, practical, and confident handling a caseload while working collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. The ideal candidate will have strong legal writing, negotiation, courtroom, and client communication skills. Responsibilities Manage an active family law caseload from beginning through settlement or trial. Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and other family law documents. Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials. Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, timely advice regarding strategy, expectations, and case status. Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments supported by Florida law. Negotiate professionally and effectively with opposing counsel and self-represented parties. Maintain deadlines, case notes, billing entries, and task management in a timely and accurate manner. Work collaboratively with the firm team to move cases efficiently toward resolution. Qualifications Active member in good standing of The Florida Bar. Meaningful family law experience; 3+ years of family law experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to independently manage contested family law cases. Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills. Excellent client communication and professional judgment. Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a busy practice. Comfort with technology, virtual work, and case management systems. Knowledge and experience with Clio is a plus. Pay:
