Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents, as well as conducting legal research and analysis to support litigation and transactional matters. The role involves advising clients on legal strategies and risk, participating in negotiations, and assisting with discovery, depositions, and court appearances under supervision. The attorney will collaborate with partners and other team members to prepare for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, while maintaining clear communication with clients and adhering to internal deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to apply legal principles to litigation and transactional matters. Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and related regulations, or willingness to develop expertise in this practice area. Capability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients in coordination with supervising attorneys. Proficient Research skills, including case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources. Effective Negotiation skills for resolving disputes, drafting agreements, and supporting settlements. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission (or eligibility for admission) to the California Bar. Strong written and oral advocacy skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment. Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, work collaboratively, and maintain client confidentiality. Prior experience in litigation or transactional work is preferred but not required; relevant internships or clerkships are beneficial.
Pay:
$120,539.76 - $150,101.64 per year
