Job Description
We have partnered with a well-established and highly respected California litigation firm that is actively seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a California-licensed attorney looking to work remotely while handling meaningful litigation matters with substantial responsibility. The firm offers a collaborative culture, strong mentorship, excellent long-term career growth, and the opportunity to manage cases from inception through trial. Responsibilities Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and client reports. Handle written discovery and motion practice. Conduct and defend depositions. Attend court appearances and hearings. Work closely with experienced litigators while maintaining significant case responsibility. Develop litigation strategy with partner guidance. Maintain strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court. Qualifications Active California Bar License (Required) Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience Insurance Defense experience strongly preferred Experience managing litigation files independently Deposition and court appearance experience Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent communication and advocacy skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Stable employment history with demonstrated career progression
