Associate Divorce Attorney, Queens NY Forest Hills, NY 11375 $100,000

  • Full-time Growing Queens Law Firm hiring a NY licensed Associate Attorney with at least two years of family law/matrimonial law experience for a small divorce/family law firm.
Spanish Speaking a strong plus. Need strong writing skills to help partners with motions, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, stipulations, and legal research. The associate can expect to gain significant court experience as they will be trained and assigned their own case load and represent client's in person and on virtual court appearances in both Family Court and Supreme Court throughout NYC, Long Island, and Westchester County. The position will require handling uncontested and contested divorces from start to finish as well as family court cases (Custody, visitation, child support, Family Offense cases, etc). Salary commensurate with family law/matrimonial law experience and qualifications.
Job Type:
Full-time, billable hour requirements are reasonable compared to industry standard. Remote work is acceptable when needed based on partner discretion.
Starting Salary:
$100,000.00
  • $140,000.
00 per year based on applicant's experience and qualifications. PTO includes at least 10 holidays a year, plus 10 days of vacation time per year as earned, which grows after certain amount of time working for the firm. Additional 5 personal/sick days per year. Health insurance. Retirement.
