Our practice focuses on removal defense, representation of individuals in ICE detention, asylum, federal litigation, and humanitarian immigration matters. We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) Associate Attorney to join our growing team. The position is primarily in person in our office in Falls Church, Virginia, with limited work-from-home flexibility after onboarding. Virginia bar membership and previous experience are preferred, but not required. About Us We are a small, collaborative law firm that believes every client deserves outstanding representation. We handle a wide range of immigration matters, including: Removal defense before the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals Representation of detained noncitizens in bond hearings and habeas petitions Federal district court litigation, including Petitions for Review, habeas corpus petitions, mandamus actions, and challenges under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) Humanitarian immigration applications, including T visas, U visas, VAWA self-petitions, and SIJS petitions Family-based immigration matters Responsibilities Represent clients at bond hearings, Master Calendar Hearings, and Individual Hearings Represent clients in state court proceedings, depending on bar membership Draft motions, legal briefs, and federal court filings Conduct legal research, develop litigation strategy, prepare applications, and gather supporting evidence Meet with clients and witnesses to draft affidavits and to prepare for hearings and interviews Work collaboratively with attorneys and paralegals to provide exceptional representation Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar, preferably Virginia 1-3 years of immigration law experience preferred, but not required Excellent legal research and writing skills Strong oral advocacy and client communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines Bilingual in Spanish and English What We Offer Salary range: $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Health insurance contribution Paid bar dues, AILA membership, and CLEs Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan with employer match Mentorship and opportunities for professional growth To Apply Please submit resume and cover letter through Indeed or to .
