Bar Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking an Attorney with 1-3 years of experience handling labor and employment matters including FEHA, 1102.5, wage and hour, class actions and union cases. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a caseload consisting of, but not limited to, drafting and filing complaints, demurrer oppositions, discovery, depositions, union meetings, contract negotiations, settlement negotiations, hearings and trials. Spanish language fluency would be a plus given that the position includes communication with monolingual Spanish-speaking clients. Recent graduates with a demonstrated commitment to representing workers and advocating for social justice will be considered. The candidate must be willing to travel to around Southern California periodically to meet with clients, attend hearings, conduct outreach, and represent the firm as needed. The position requires a minimum of two (2) days per week in office.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to California bar at the time of applying 1-3 years of experience in labor and employment law Ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
