Job Title:
Plumbing Foreman - Residential Construction Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreman to lead plumbing installations and service work on custom homes and complex residential projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing crews, coordinating materials, interpreting plans, ensuring code compliance, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional jobsite. Responsibilities Lead plumbing crews on high-end residential job sites with professionalism and efficiency. Interpret and work from architectural, plumbing, and construction plans. Plan job schedules and workforce assignments in coordination with project managers. Research, locate, and order necessary materials and parts for each project. Install, inspect, and oversee systems including water, waste, vent piping, gas piping, radiant floor heating, and boilers. Size gas systems and ensure proper design and installation of plumbing systems. Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and team members. Handle conflict or client concerns with professionalism and service-oriented solutions. Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Perform and delegate daily tasks, documentation, change orders, and project reporting. Support estimating, budgeting, and planning phases as needed. Utilize computer systems to manage job documentation, submit reports, and send professional emails. Help oversee multiple jobs and assist with scheduling and resource management. Respond to additional requests to make projects run smoothly. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in a plumbing foreman or lead plumbing role. MVR required for company vehicle use. OSHA Certification and CPR Certification. Deep understanding of plumbing codes and custom home systems. Experience with radiant heating, boiler systems, and gas sizing. Strong knowledge of water, waste, and vent systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills. Outstanding customer service and professional communication abilities. Proficiency with basic computer systems and professional email communication. Experience with job documentation, change orders, and project paperwork. Flexible, reliable, and capable of managing changing project needs. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman license. Experience with new construction plumbing and tankless water heaters. Proficiency with Bluebeam software. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work primarily in Beverly Hills/West Side with shop located in Tarzana. Operate 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays from 7-3:30 or 8-4:30. A service van is provided, which can be driven home if behind a gate. Required PPE includes steel toe boots and hard hats, with additional gear provided. Work within a crew of 10-12 on construction sites. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clarita, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
