Job Description
Remote Work from Home! Aldridge Pite, LLP is a multi-state law firm that focuses heavily on the utilization of technology to create work flow synergies with its clients and business partners. Aldridge Pite is a full-service provider of legal services to depository and non-depository financial institutions including banks, credit unions, mortgage servicing concerns, institutional investors, private firms, and other commercial clients. Purpose Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Bankruptcy Processor to join our Notice of Final Cure Team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, courts, and other legal professionals. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Including, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Review daily reports to ensure matters are processed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Prepare, process, and file bankruptcy responses and related legal documents.
- Draft and submit responses and correspondence for client review and approval.
- Coordinate assignments with local counsel and process hearing results.
- Monitor and process Electronic Case Filing (ECF) notifications and attorney correspondence.
- Update and maintain client systems with accurate and timely information.
- Process incoming calls, emails, faxes, payment histories, disputes, attorney assignments, and debtor payments.
- Provide administrative and operational support to attorneys and management.
- Assist with departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate professionally with bankruptcy trustees, bankruptcy courts, local counsel, and debtor's attorneys.
- Ability to navigate and interpret client systems accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based applications.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment. General Competencies
