Join a Respected and Growing Virginia Litigation PracticeA well-established Virginia law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience to join its thriving practice in the Richmond metropolitan area.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range:
$120,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience.

Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar, or eligible for admission.

Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.

Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery materials.

Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.

Ability to independently manage matters while working effectively within a team environment.

Trial, deposition, and hearing experience is a plus.

ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from intake through resolution.

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related documents.

Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and case strategy recommendations.

Take and defend depositions and participate in witness preparation.

Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.

Collaborate with clients to develop effective litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice.

Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Work closely with partners and other attorneys on complex and high-value disputes.
