Experience:
2-4 years of civil litigation or trial experience Overview Our VoTech School is seeking a motivated, independent litigation attorney to handle civil rights violations litigation. If you have a passion for justice but are looking for competitive hourly compensation and schedule flexibility. Key Responsibilities Manage civil cases from initial intake and discovery through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal briefs. Appear in local General District and Circuit Courts for hearings and trials as needed. Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients. Qualifications Active license in good standing with the Virginia State Bar (Required). 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation, public interest law, or criminal defense. Strong courtroom presence and comfort arguing motions. Reliable, deadline-driven, and capable of working independently.
