About Us:
The roots of Lynberg & Watkins run deep. The Firm was founded in the early 1970's by Charles Lynberg, an experienced trial attorney who had developed his skills as an Assistant US Attorney prosecuting cases against organized crime figures and others. As a renowned litigator, Mr. Lynberg started Lynberg & Watkins as a practice which focused on the defense of high-profile civil cases. As the practice grew, new specialties were added, including a nationally recognized insurance coverage team which focused on the expanding area of coverage for long term toxic exposures, a defense team which focused on multiple categories of claims against public entities and a construction team which focused on the defense of construction companies. These practice area seeds have grown over the years to what Lynberg & Watkins has become today. L&W has earned a long-standing reputation of excellence and prominence with clients and the legal community alike. The firm's core practice is in civil litigation and insurance coverage. We represent public entities, insurance companies and their insureds, private corporations and individuals on a national, regional and local level. L&W's Construction Law team consists of distinguished and seasoned attorneys with significant trial experience representing owners (public, private and commercial), developers, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors of all trades, and lien holders, in both California and Nevada. The team at L&W is well respected in the industry as having the expertise and resources necessary to fervently pursue and successfully resolve any construction-related claim on behalf of its clients in matters relating to all aspects of the business of construction, including contract formation and disputes, on-site injuries, construction defects and delays, as well as contractor claims including mechanic's liens and payment disputes.
