Job Description
Description Regional law firm is seeking a Contract Attorney with at least two years of civil litigation experience to support its team in Redwood City on a contract basis, up to 40 hours per week depending on your availability. This role will focus on various civil litigation matters and assist with cases throughout the full litigation lifecycle, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. This Contract Attorney can work remotely or on-site, depending on your preferences. Key Responsibilities + Support matters through all phases of civil litigation + Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents + Assist with case strategy, legal research, and analysis + Support depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation + Review documents and help manage discovery processes + Communicate with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel + Handle multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment + Provide flexible litigation support to attorneys based on case needs Requirements Qualifications + 2+ years of civil litigation experience + Experience in litigation defense strongly preferred + Active California bar license required + Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and deadlines + Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills + Ability to work independently and manage assignments with minimal supervision + Interest in a flexible work arrangement between 20-40 hours per week Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
