Experienced Family Law Attorney Lincoln & Wenk PLLC Goodyear, AZ Job Details Full-time From $100,000 a year 6 days ago Benefits Work from home Qualifications Customer communication Family law case experience Family law Bar Full Job Description Lincoln & Wenk, PLLC is seeking an experienced family law attorney to join our growing Goodyear office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of substantive Arizona family law experience and be comfortable independently managing a caseload from initial consultation through resolution. We are looking for an attorney who is confident in the courtroom, responsive to clients, and capable of handling the challenges of a busy family law practice with sound judgment, professionalism, and compassion. Lincoln & Wenk is an established, family-friendly law firm with a collaborative team environment and strong support staff. This position will be based primarily in our Goodyear office. Attorneys generally have the opportunity to work from home one day per week, with additional flexibility considered depending on schedules, client needs, court obligations, and individual circumstances. The attorney hired for this position should be prepared to take on an existing caseload and conduct initial consultations shortly after joining the firm. Responsibilities Independently manage a caseload involving the full range of family law matters, including divorce, legal decision-making, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, post-decree matters, and other related issues; Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients and provide thoughtful legal analysis and case strategy; Draft and review pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, disclosure, and other legal documents; Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, and other case-related proceedings; Communicate with clients in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner; Develop case strategy and provide clients with practical, realistic advice regarding their legal matters; Work closely and collaboratively with legal assistants, paralegals, attorneys, and other members of the firm; Stay current on Arizona family law statutes, case law, court rules, and continuing legal education requirements; Consistently meet the firm's reasonable billable-hour expectations; Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving firm systems, processes, and client service; and Build and maintain strong professional relationships and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the firm. Qualifications Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona; Minimum of 4-5 years of substantive family law experience ; Significant experience independently managing family law cases; Courtroom experience, including contested hearings and trials; Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills; Excellent judgment and the ability to develop and execute case strategy; Strong organizational and time-management skills; Professional, responsive, and compassionate approach to client communication; and Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
