Job Description
Experienced Family Law Paralegal What we're looking for We're adding an experienced paralegal to our growing civil litigation practice. You will have more than 5 years of experience dealing with civil litigation with at least three years of experience with family law required. Your experience will cover most aspects of litigation including witness preparation, drafting, and all phases of discovery. We're seeking a highly motivated individual to complete excellent legal work for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a true professional, highly organized, trustworthy, efficient, resourceful, and open to using technology to maximize work-life balance. What you'll be doing You will be assisting attorneys with the following: Legal research and presentations Client interviews, phone calls and meetings Drafting legal documents Managing day to day legal work Coordinating mediations, hearings, and other settings Maintaining and organizing client files Complex litigation support Billing & invoice collection Preferred Qualifications We have the following preferred qualifications: Proficient with technology Refined spelling and editing skills Spanish proficiency Team player with a desire for increased responsibility over time Familiarity meeting legal deadlines Experience with accurate time keeping Online case management experience Paralegal certificate OR college degree Board certification Next steps and how to reach us The salary for this position is commensurate with experience & availability.
