The firm represents clients in complex domestic matters and is committed to achieving favorable outcomes while maintaining a supportive and responsive client experience. Position Summary JG Boyd Law Firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Attorney to manage a caseload of domestic relations matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of family law cases, demonstrate strong advocacy skills, and provide thoughtful, client-focused legal counsel. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and related issues Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients throughout all stages of their case Conduct legal research and develop case strategies Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and guidance Ensure compliance with Georgia family law procedures and court rules Collaborate with legal assistants and support staff to ensure efficient case management Meet billable hour requirements and maintain accurate time records Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia 3+ years of experience in family law preferred Strong litigation and courtroom experience Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills Strong negotiation and advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines High level of professionalism and ethical standards Experience with case management software and legal research tools
