About Us:
Danbury Law Group is a respected and client-focused family law firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. We provide compassionate, strategic legal representation in matters such as divorce, child custody, support, paternity, and modifications. We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. This role offers remote work flexibility, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives.Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Arizona and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in family law. You should be confident managing your own caseload, handling all aspects of family law litigation, and providing clear, empathetic counsel to clients navigating complex personal issues.Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution
- Draft motions, pleadings, parenting plans, and settlement agreements
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials (virtually or in-person as needed)
- Advise and advocate for clients on custody, support, divorce, and property issues
- Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel
- Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure effective case management
- Maintain accurate time records and case documentation
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Arizona and in good standing
- Minimum
- 2 years of experience in Arizona family law
- Strong knowledge of the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure (ARFLP)
- Excellent oral and written advocacy skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Tech-savvy and proficient in legal practice software (e.
Preferred:
- Courtroom litigation experience
- Mediation or negotiation training
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
