Note:
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Washington State and have at least 1 year of litigation experience. Family law experience is highly preferred, but strong litigation attorneys from other practice areas with an interest in family law are encouraged to apply. Job Description Represent clients in family law litigation matters including divorce, child custody, parenting plans, child support, spousal maintenance, and related disputes. Manage a diverse caseload from intake through resolution. Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs. Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies. Represent clients during hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials. Build trusted client relationships through excellent communication and advocacy. Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service. Negotiate favorable settlements while preparing cases for litigation when necessary. Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with legal deadlines. Qualifications Active Washington State Bar license. 1+ year of litigation experience. Family law experience preferred. Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills. Excellent communication and client relationship abilities. Highly organized with strong case management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
