Lead Litigation Attorney

Position Overview:

The firm is seeking liability defense attorneys with a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling cases from inception to resolution, including preparing pleadings, motion practice, conducting depositions, and trial work. Experience in reviewing claims files, communicating effectively with claims professionals and clients, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage cases independently from start to finish Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials Communicate effectively with clients and claims professionals Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts Minimum of 6 years litigation experience Experience in one or more of the following practice areas is preferred: Family Law, Probate, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Business Litigation Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills Motivated, ambitious, and career-oriented Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong organizational and time management skills
