Litigation Associate -
Insurance Defense Location:
White Plains, NY Compensation:
$150,000-$200,000 Base + Bonus Hybrid Schedule Negotiable Established litigation practice seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join a growing team handling negligence defense matters throughout NYC and surrounding counties. Responsibilities- Manage insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and discovery responses
- Attend court appearances, hearings, conferences, and mediations
- Work directly with insurance carriers, clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy Requirements
- Active New York Bar admission
- 5-7 years of Insurance Defense litigation experience
- Strong negligence defense background
- Deposition experience required
- Trial experience preferred
- Strong legal writing and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload Compensation & Benefits
