Job Description

Personal Injury Litigation Attorney (Hybrid) — Hartford / New Haven, CT Law Office of Michael L. Chambers Jr. | Full-Time | Hybrid | Connecticut We represent people during one of the hardest moments of their lives, and we take that seriously. The Law Office of Michael L. Chambers Jr. is a Connecticut personal injury firm built on one promise: a 5-star experience for every client and the best possible result on every case. We're growing, and we're looking for a litigation attorney to take ownership of our litigation files and be part of a team that genuinely looks out for each other. This is a role for someone who wants to own their cases, be in the courtroom, and get real results for clients. What you'll do You'll take our litigation files and run with them. This is a personal injury litigation role — motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases across Connecticut.
You will:
  • Manage a docket of PI litigation files from suit through resolution.
  • Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Handle status conferences, pretrials, mediations, and hearings.
  • Build cases for full value and try them when a fair settlement isn't on the table.
  • Work directly with Michael and a strong support team who keep your files moving. What we're looking for
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Connecticut bar (or admitted elsewhere and able to gain CT admission before your start date).
  • 3-5+ years of civil litigation experience — personal injury or plaintiff or defense.
  • Courtroom and deposition experience. You've argued motions and you're comfortable on your feet.
  • A strong writer who's organized and can carry a docket independently.
  • Committed, coachable, and focused on getting the best result for every client.
  • Spanish is a plus, not a requirement. Why work here
  • Hybrid schedule with offices in Hartford and New Haven.
  • A firm that invests in its people and its systems — modern tools, real support staff, and organized files.
  • Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
  • A team culture grounded in faith, family, and hard work.
  • The opportunity to try cases and grow, not just settle files.
We are an equal opportunity employer. Every qualified applicant receives fair consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today. IF you want serious consideration, please text me your name, email address and best contact phone number at 8602505622
