  • Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Per Diem Attorney licensed in New Jersey to provide legal support in the practice areas of family law and criminal law.
This role offers flexible, on-demand legal assistance to support ongoing casework, legal research, and drafting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services. As a Per Diem Attorney, you will play a vital role in assisting our legal team with diverse matters, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the successful resolution of complex legal issues. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case development and legal analysis. Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist in preparing for hearings by analyzing case facts and relevant laws. Support the legal team in managing case files and maintaining organized records. Engage in ongoing legal research to stay current with evolving laws and regulations pertinent to multiple jurisdictions. Collaborate effectively with attorneys and clients to facilitate smooth communication and ensure timely completion of assignments. Requirements Active license to practice law in New Jersey. Experience in family law and/or criminal law in New Jersey. Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis. Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and accurately. Prior experience working in a law office setting or similar environment is preferred. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proficiency in legal administrative tasks such as document management and case tracking systems.
