  • Produces high-quality work by leveraging tools and resources in an efficient manner What You Need You must have experience managing first-party property cases through the pre-suit lifecycle, including coverage analysis, claim presentation, demand strategy, negotiation with adjusters and carriers, and the decision-making framework for when to refer a file to litigation.
You should be comfortable building and refining workflows, mentoring staff, and operating with autonomy. This is also an opportunity for a forward-thinking lawyer to learn about the business of practicing law.
What You Get Pay:
The sky really is the limit. We offer a competitive base + bonus structure. $100,000
  • $200,000 salary plus industry leading profit sharing incentive structure Responsibilities Manage the firm's pre-suit caseload from intake through demand and resolution or litigation referral.
Build out the Pre-Suit Department, including workflows, SOPs, file standards, and team structure. Conduct coverage analysis on new claims and develop case strategy. send demand letters, sworn proofs of loss, and pre-suit correspondence with carriers. Negotiate directly with adjusters, carrier counsel, and other decision-makers to maximize pre-suit resolution. Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining the proper course of action. Mentor and supervise paralegals and legal assistants as the department grows. Qualifications Must be admitted to practice in Florida. Additional states are not required, but it is a bonus. 3+ years of litigation and/or pre-suit experience handling property insurance or related plaintiff-side work. Prior pre-suit manage expeirence experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently while supporting and developing a team. Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing communication skills. Compensation $100,000
