This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to join a collaborative team committed to legal excellence and client advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, property division, and domestic violence cases. Manage a 30-40 client caseload independently with paralegal support. However, strategy and support will be readily available from other attorneys in the firm for complicated cases. Provide strategic legal counsel and representation to clients throughout all phases of litigation and dispute resolution. Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, and represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials. Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions to achieve favorable outcomes while prioritizing clients' best interests. Maintain and build upon an existing book of business by fostering client relationships and generating new business opportunities. Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm growth initiatives and best practices. Stay abreast of changes in family law statutes and legal precedents at the local and state level.
Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Colorado Bar. 3+ years of substantive Colorado family law experience, including litigation. Exceptional research, analytical, and written/oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and sound judgment.
