We are seeking a Senior Counsel to join a team of litigation attorneys responsible for managing a broad and dynamic portfolio of disputes, including complex commercial litigation, product liability, corporate & securities litigation, and cross-border arbitration. This is an important role within GE Aerospace Legal & Compliance, offering significant visibility and regular interaction with senior executives across both Legal & Compliance and the business.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute litigation strategies across various business units and jurisdictions. Manage active litigation in U.S. and international forums, including oversight and coordination of pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trials, appeals, and arbitration proceedings. Advise senior leaders, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams on dispute resolution strategy, litigation risk, and legal exposure arising from key business initiatives. Implement internal litigation reporting, legal holds, and e-discovery protocols. Supervise outside counsel and support staff to ensure high-quality, cost-effective representation and sound case management. Monitor and assess legal and regulatory developments impacting the company's litigation profile, with particular attention to Aerospace, defense, and high-risk jurisdictions. Contribute to the development of corporate policies and governance initiatives related to litigation, document retention, dispute resolution, and regulatory issues. Support and lead initiatives to use artificial intelligence and other technologies to enhance the efficiency, quality, and strategic capabilities of the legal team. Travel up to 25%
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from accredited university Minimum 7 years of professional experience in litigation Member in good standing with the
State Bar Note:
Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
