Trusts & Estates Attorney (5+ years)

Noland, Hamerly, Etienne & Hoss , one of Monterey County's most established and respected AV-rated law firms, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney (5+ years) to join its growing practice. This is a rare opportunity to step into an active, high-demand trusts and estates practice with immediate client responsibility, particularly in our Salinas office, where demand significantly exceeds current capacity. Our firm serves a sophisticated and loyal client base across the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas Valley—one of the most desirable and livable regions in California, offering a unique combination of coastal lifestyle, agriculture-driven wealth, and close-knit community ties. About the Practice Our trusts and estates group handles a full range of matters, including:

• Estate planning (revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, advanced planning strategies)
• Trust and estate administration
• Probate proceedings
• Related trust and estate litigation You will be joining a collaborative team of experienced T&E attorneys with strong referral pipelines and consistent workflow.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and implementing comprehensive estate plans
• Managing trust and estate administrations from start to finish
• Handling probate matters
• Advising clients on tax, wealth transfer, and fiduciary issues
• Direct client interaction and relationship management
• Collaborating with partners, attorneys, and support staff across offices

• Juris Doctor
• 5+ years of trusts and estates experience required
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage matters and client relationships
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently

Pay:

$120,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
