In this role, you will champion clients through complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and other related issues. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotionally charged situations with confidence and clarity. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for families, possesses strong legal research and writing skills, and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving. Duties Represent clients in court and negotiations involving family law matters such as divorce, child custody, and adoption Advise clients on their legal options and rights in various family law situations Prepare and file legal documents like divorce settlements, custody agreements, and other family law-related paperwork Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations to represent clients and advocate for client interests Help families reach mutually agreeable settlements and agreements whenever possible Manage a caseload of cases while ensuring timely progress and adherence to court deadlines Collaborate with paralegals, mediators, and other professionals to provide comprehensive legal service Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction 2 years of relevant experience in family law Strong legal research, writing, communication, and negotiation skills Empathy and counseling skills to help clients navigate difficult situations Benefits AD&D insurance Life Insurance Medical Insurance (BCBS) Dental insurance Vision Insurance Disability insurance Free parking
