Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation, from investigation, pleadings, discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal. Conduct extensive and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Take and defend depositions of parties and expert witnesses, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses, motions, and briefs. Provide legal advice to clients regarding all aspects of insurance defense law, ensuring they are fully informed and their rights are protected.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Current license to practice law in the state. Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance defense litigation with a proven track record of success. Proficient in conducting depositions and civil litigation. Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
