Family Law Attorney - Client-Centered Firm | Established Tennessee Practice Job Overview BFP Law Firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing, client-centered legal team. In this role, you will manage a dynamic caseload involving divorce, custody, and support matters while working in a collaborative, supportive environment that values both professional excellence and compassionate advocacy. What You'll Do Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, and spousal support Conduct in-depth legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable, client-focused outcomes Represent clients confidently in court, mediations, and negotiations Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements Provide clear, strategic legal guidance to clients throughout the legal process What We're Looking For Family Law Attorney with the ability to manage complex cases independently Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting abilities Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar tools Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively Bonus experience in related practice areas (not required): estate planning, litigation, personal injury, or other complementary legal fields.
