Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our legal team. Someone with two to four experience is the ideal candidate but we open to motivated newly licensed attorneys. In this role, you will handle a diverse range of litigation matters, ranging from client interviews, written discovery, depositions, and motion practice all leading trial experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal professional to engage in a robust litigation practice. Duties Work all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, negotiations, and trial preparation. Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations. Draft clear, precise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and settlement agreements with exceptional legal writing skills. Represent clients in court proceedings and mediationsacross various practice areas. Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining client interests and fostering positive relationships with opposing counsel. Collaborate with clients to gather facts, develop case strategies, and provide sound legal advice tailored to their specific needs. Maintain meticulous records of case files and manage legal administrative tasks efficiently within the law office environment. Skills Knowledge of litigation procedures across multiple practice areas including insurance defense, automobile liability, premises liability, general civil litigation, and commerical litigation Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to locate relevant statutes and case law swiftly. Excellent writing skills for drafting comprehensive legal documents with clarity and precision. Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions. Experience in managing multiple cases simultaneously within a fast-paced law office setting. Demonstrated competence in legal administrative tasks including document management and case tracking. Pay:
$56,536.71 - $68,087.22 per year
