Qualified applicants should be admitted to practice law in Tennessee and be in good standing, and while not required, prior litigation experience in general civil defense matters and/or workers' compensation defense litigation is preferred. Interested applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, unofficial transcript and writing sample to Jody Scott. Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, with attention to detail. Assist in litigation preparation and support attorneys in court proceedings. Utilize knowledge of Workers' Compensation law to provide legal assistance. Collaborate with team members on case strategies and client representation. Demonstrate strong writing skills in correspondence and legal documentation.
Job Type:
Full-time.
Pay:
From $80,000.00 per year.
