- $265,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Paid holidays Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Doctor of Law (JD) Bar Full Job Description Position Summary The General Counsel serves as Slick City Action Park's senior legal advisor, responsible for overseeing all legal matters across corporate and franchise operations.
Qualifications Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required. Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.Experience:
10+ years of legal experience, including corporate or in-house counsel experience. 5+ years' experience supporting Family Entertainment Center Experience supporting franchise, multi-unit, retail, hospitality, or entertainment organizations strongly preferred. Background in franchising, commercial contracts, employment law, and real estate/development matters. Experience managing outside counsel and litigation matters.Skills & Competencies:
Excellent knowledge of joint employer laws, franchise regulatory frameworks, and evolving federal and state employment standards. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills. Strong field leadership and decision-making skills. Strong business judgment and practical problem-solving ability. Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear business guidance. Strong interpersonal and executive communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. High level of discretion and professional integrity.
