Job Description
Baker Donelson is seeking a mid-to-senior level attorney with at least six years of experience in technology transactions to join its growing team. The attorney may reside in any Baker Donelson office, with a preference for Nashville. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of technology-related contracts, including software, SaaS, licensing, vendor, data processing, data use, digital health, and other commercial technology agreements. Candidates should be comfortable managing sophisticated contract negotiations, advising clients on legal and business risk, and working collaboratively with attorneys across practice groups. Experience with health care technology, digital health, health IT, or health care provider/vendor contracting is a plus but not required. Additional experience advising on state-level data privacy laws, HIPAA, data use and sharing arrangements, AI-related contracting considerations, or privacy and security issues in corporate transactions is also helpful, but secondary to core technology transactions experience.
