This opportunity is designed for individuals currently pursuing or recently graduated with a law-related degree who are passionate about U.S. immigration law and eager to contribute meaningfully to our daily operations while developing practical skills in a dynamic and multicultural environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research on immigration-related issues using case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources. Assist in preparing forms, filings, and supporting evidence for immigration applications and petitions. Summarize findings from research and present them in clear, concise formats. Support attorneys in client-related tasks, including drafting correspondence and maintaining case records. Assist with administrative duties such as organizing files, scanning and copying documents, mailing case packages, and tracking case deadlines. Potentially interact with clients by gathering information, confirming details, or providing status updates under attorney guidance. Collaborate with team members across a multicultural environment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client information. Qualifications Currently pursuing or a pre-law degree (e.g., Political Science, International Relations, History, Sociology, or related field) or planning to attend law school in the future. Bilingual in English and Mandarin (required) Genuine interest in U.S. immigration law and motivation to build a career in the legal field. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise summaries. Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential client information. Prior experience in legal, administrative, or client-service roles (preferred but not required).Working Arrangement Time Commitment:
A minimum commitment of 12 weeks is required.Schedule:
Flexible scheduling is available, but interns are expected to maintain consistent weekly hours to ensure meaningful participation and learning.
