Job Description
Saenz-Garcia Law, PLLC, is a dedicated legal practice specializing in immigration law. We are committed to providing comprehensive legal services to clients facing immigration challenges. Our team is passionate about advocating for justice and ensuring that our clients' rights are protected. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced deport/removal Senior Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in a full-time capacity. The Senior Attorney is a subject matter expert responsible for leading the firm's most complex and high-stakes immigration cases, including advanced litigation and appeals. This role also serves as a strategic and mentorship resource for Associate Attorneys, ensuring strong case strategy, legal quality, and consistency across the firm. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex deportation/removal defense and advanced immigration litigation cases. Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) in high-stakes matters. Develop and execute legal strategies for cases involving criminal bars, fraud issues, and complex eligibility challenges. Act as lead attorney and final decision-maker in critical court and agency appearances. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide advanced guidance to Associate Attorneys and Paralegals. Collaborate with the Managing Attorney on firm-wide litigation strategy and best practices. Requirements Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in good standing. Extensive experience in U.S. immigration law, with a strong emphasis on deportation/removal defense and complex litigation. Demonstrated experience with BIA appeals, complex waivers (I-601 / I-212), and cases involving criminal or fraud-related issues. Strong experience appearing before EOIR and USCIS. Advanced legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage a highly complex caseload and provide strategic legal leadership. Strong commitment to ethical standards and professional responsibility.
