Job Title:
Healthcare Regulatory Attorney Location:
Houston, TX I am working directly with the leadership of a well-established Texas law firm that is experiencing significant growth in its healthcare regulatory practice. This is a high-impact role supporting a senior attorney on sophisticated regulatory and administrative matters involving healthcare providers, payors, and government agencies. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who understands the intersection of healthcare compliance, regulatory enforcement, and administrative law and is looking to step into a role with immediate responsibility on high-exposure matters. What We Need 5+ years of healthcare regulatory, administrative law, or related experience Direct, hands-on experience with CMS audits, investigations, and reimbursement/recoupment disputes Strong working knowledge of STARK, Anti-Kickback Statute, and corporate practice of medicine Experience responding to government inquiries, including HHS and related agencies Ability to handle or assist in proceedings before administrative law judges Experience coordinating with outside experts and developing regulatory strategy Capable of drafting position statements, responses, and filings tied to investigations and adverse outcomes Comfortable stepping into active matters, assessing exposure, and executing with minimal oversight Experience with state regulatory bodies (e.g., medical or nursing boards) preferred Strong client communication skills and ability to manage matters independently What You'll Get Pay is competitive, top-market for an individual with similar experience. This is an in-office role.
