Position Overview Haim Vasquez Legal Group is seeking a passionate, skilled Immigration Attorney to join our litigation and family-based immigration team. You will manage a diverse caseload—including removal defense, waivers, and family-based petitions—while representing clients before EOIR, USCIS, and other agencies. You'll join a collaborative team that values excellence, empathy, and community service. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in immigration court (EOIR) hearings, bond proceedings, and USCIS interviews. Develop case strategies; prepare and file applications, motions, briefs, and appeals. Conduct client consultations and maintain clear, timely communication throughout each matter. Coordinate with legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff to manage deadlines and documentation. Participate in community outreach, legal education workshops, and firm pro bono initiatives. Contribute to a positive, mission-driven culture centered on client-focused advocacy and professional growth. Qualifications Minimum 2 years' immigration law experience (removal defense or family-based preferred). Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational abilities. Demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights and social justice.
Preferred:
