Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Attorney A/R Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating with law firms to collect outstanding medical balances, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure timely payment on attorney-held accounts for Moxie Healthcare Solutions clients while ensuring compliance with legal regulations, including HIPAA. Essential Job Responsibilities for the
Attorney A/R Specialist:
  • Gathers data from multiple internal and external systems including billing, electronic health records and data storage to extract required information
  • Maintains excellent data entry skills, recognizing and adapting to client's expectations
  • Communicates with various legal staff including attorneys, paralegals and assistants to transfer and receive requested legal documents
  • Responsible for review and collection of all outstanding claims categorized as Attorney Accounts Receivables
  • Communicates directly with client administrator on issues, updates and collections processes
  • Answers incoming telephone call to address patient, client or attorney questions unsettled medical bills, reimbursements, and billing discrepancies and/or routes to appropriate internal staff
  • Communicates directly with client administrator on issues, updates and collections processes
  • Coordinates and implements special projects assigned by executive management in accordance with established timeframes
  • Performs all job functions with integrity.
Provides timely internal and external client responses in a professional, cooperative, and respectful manner.
