Associate Attorney Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable attorney to join Tromberg, Miller, Morris & Partners, PLLC's Texas office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mortgage default law. This role requires excellent litigation skills and the ability to conduct thorough legal research. The attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings throughout the state of Texas, while providing expert legal advice and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The position will be full time in our Plano, Texas office. Responsibilities Obtaining judicial foreclosure judgments in both state and federal courts. Resolving mortgage defaults involving deceased borrowers in state district courts and probate courts. Handling contested eviction matters including eviction appeals in state courts. Handling defensive litigation matters through trial involving alleged violations of state and federal statutes and regulations. Collaborating with the firm's other attorneys and the firm's clients to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have experience handling mortgage default matters. Licensed to practice law in Texas state courts required. Admitted to practice in federal courts in Texas preferred. Courtroom experience required. Some trial experience preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to handle a caseload with minimal supervision. Willingness to ask questions when needed. Experience with CaseAware case management system. Experience working in client portals including BKFS/LPS and Tempo.
