This position is ideal for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of a plaintiff's personal injury docket, advocate for injured clients, and help families through some of the most difficult times in their lives. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, compassionate, organized, and motivated to obtain excellent results for clients. The ideal candidate is confident managing cases from intake through resolution, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing outstanding client service. Position Responsibilities The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling personal injury cases, including: Managing a docket of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters Communicating with clients regarding case status, treatment, damages, and strategy Investigating claims and evaluating liability, causation, and damages Reviewing medical records, bills, insurance information, and supporting evidence Drafting demand packages and negotiating settlements with insurance carriers Filing lawsuits and handling litigation matters when necessary Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other case-related documents Taking and defending depositions Attending hearings, mediations, and trial settings as needed Working closely with legal assistants, case managers, and firm leadership to move cases efficiently and effectively Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing Strong writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills Ability to manage deadlines and a high-volume caseload Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to build trust with clients and communicate with empathy and professionalism What We Are Looking For The right candidate will be: Self-motivated and dependable Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions Passionate about helping injured clients Skilled at balancing compassion with strong advocacy Team-oriented but able to work independently Interested in growing long-term with the firm Compensation and Benefits Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.
