Job Description

ASSISTANT COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY OFFICE OF THE COMMONWEALTHS ATTORNEY FOR CAMPBELL COUNTY
The office is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney to begin September 1, 2026. This position will be responsible for the prosecution of domestic violence and child abuse cases subject to a grant funded/partially county funded position. Preference for prior prosecution and/or criminal practice experience but it is not required. Must pass a criminal background check. Salary is $75,000-$90,000 depending on experience. Position includes full benefits and Virginia Retirement System eligibility.
