Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law. This role involves assisting attorneys in various aspects of family law cases, providing essential support through legal research, documentation, and client interaction. The Family Law Paralegal will play a crucial role in ensuring that all legal processes are executed smoothly and efficiently. Duties Draft, proofread, and transcribe legal documents, including letters and pleadings. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Assist in the preparation of court filings and manage deadlines for submissions. Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress. Support attorneys in trial preparation by compiling necessary materials and evidence. Perform administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the office. Experience Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role is preferred. Familiarity with family law practices and procedures is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication. Ability to write clearly and concisely for various legal documents. Administrative experience within a legal setting is advantageous.
