Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and vigorous representation to clients facing criminal charges. Your expertise will help ensure fair proceedings, protect client rights, and achieve favorable outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases across various legal areas, including litigation, negotiation, and legal research, all while contributing to a team committed to justice and integrity. Duties Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including arraignments, hearings, trials, and appeals with confidence and professionalism Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to build strong case strategies Draft legal documents, motions, briefs, and pleadings with precision and clarity Negotiate plea agreements and settlement terms that serve the best interests of clients Analyze evidence, interview witnesses, and collaborate with investigators to develop compelling case narratives Stay current on evolving laws in areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant law, and more Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative requirements Experience Proven experience as a criminal defense attorney with a strong track record of successful case outcomes Extensive knowledge of litigation procedures and legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases involving multiple areas of law such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant law Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and persuasive arguments Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients in plea negotiations or settlement discussions Legal administrative experience managing case files and documentation efficiently Familiarity with the use of legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis for comprehensive case analysis Join our team to make a meaningful impact through dedicated advocacy!
