Employment Law Attorney - Seattle, WA A respected Seattle law firm is looking to add an Employment Law Attorney with litigation experience to its team. This attorney will handle a variety of employment matters and have the opportunity to take on significant responsibility for their cases and clients. Responsibilities Handle employment litigation matters from start to finish Work on wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and other employment disputes Take and defend depositions Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Communicate directly with clients and provide advice on employment-related issues Assist with employment policies, compliance, and risk management matters Manage an active caseload and work with other attorneys on more complex matters Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active Washington State Bar license 4-8 years of employment law experience Strong employment litigation experience Experience with depositions and motions practice Strong research and writing skills Able to manage cases independently First-chair experience is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contributions Paid time off and holidays Professional development and CLE opportunities This is a good opportunity for an employment attorney who wants to handle substantial litigation work and continue building their practice with an established Seattle firm.
